In 2007, a group of Taiwanese-Canadian students at the University of British Columbia established the inaugural Vancouver Taiwanese Film Festival. As a result, outstanding Taiwanese films get to be screened in Vancouver for the very first time, and by participating in the event, countless film-loving students found their passion for the art of cinema while reigniting their connections to Taiwan. 15 years have since passed, and the Vancouver Taiwanese Film Festival is still growing under the support of the Vancouver Taiwanese Film Society. By interviewing participants from its early year, 15+ presents a story very close to our hearts. What will the Vancouver Taiwanese Film Festival bring to the audiences in the next 15 years?
