What could have happened if only Jan-Wen had not marched down with a homemade gun and terrorized a crowded night market on his eighteenth birthday? Then maybe Chen, a locally loved MOBA game streamer would not have to die; Journalist Meijun might not have to bear witness to this traumatizing incident; Vita might not have her life turned upside down from the death of her fiancée; Ah Xing might not have to see his best friend go to jail for homicide. And Ling Ling, a bright yet errant teenager could continue to scam Chen for gaming resources using her made-up persona. Everyone became collateral damage to Jan-Wen’s wicked and selfish decision, and now all including himself had to go on living miserably… But what if this time we respawn as someone else to relive that night. Could a different decision unlock a new ending? Could one change in action derail the trajectory of the original tragedy? Six people each carrying burdens of their own became entangled in each other’s timeline before they knew it. What if things could change, would someone’s tragedy become another’s happy resolution? And just what would it take for this exchange?
