Once You Bite Down On Something In Life, You Should Never Let It Go

A crocodile never lets go once its teeth grits onto a target. It is this immense tenacity that Croc aspires to possess. Unfortunately, Croc’s misjudged sense of loyalty led him astray and he ended up in jail at age 17. After getting out on parole, Croc reconnects with his brotherly figure, Chief Liu, and receives employment at his office. Eventually, Croc gets assigned to Zhi Ping Chen. She is a young and headstrong farmer demanding answers for the water blockage issues at her farm. Through their constant bickering and conflicts, they soon find trust and comfort in each other’s presence. However, with Chief Liu’s involvement in the water blockage issues, Croc grapples to balance his career and love life. A young punk struggling to make his life better meets a strong-willed farmer. Croc realizes he faces a much bigger issue than just the farm itself – having to choose between his career and a girl he loves. Caught in the middle of this cruel food chain, and stuck between a rock and a hard place, can Croc break free from the shackles of society and prove himself worthy of transforming into a powerful crocodile that never lets go of the one he wants to protect?

Director Biography

Tapu Chen

CHEN is an established Taiwanese filmmaker specializing in directing commercials and cinematography. His notable works include the film, Better than Sex (2002) and the television series, Dangerous Mind (2005). Chen was also commissioned throughout his career to direct commercials in multiple cities across Singapore, Hong Kong, and China. His debut feature film, Pick the Youth, was released in 2011. 6 years down the road, he directed Turn Around (2017), which was ranked the eighth-best grossing domestic film of that year. He had also won Best Cinematography at the 22nd Taipei Film Festival for the film We Are Champions (2019).
